Hong Kong fashion designers who run their own brands have great talents but are facing problems to develop their creative designs into the first garment sample for commercialization. So we established the Sample Development Centre for providing an effective design-to-production communication system and service to transform fashion designers’ ideas into a prototype within the allowed budget of materials, labour and overhead costs.
Sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, this centre aims to:
- Help to make the prototype sample – the 1st stage for developing a fashion collection
- Provide expert pattern services
- Develop specifications for bulk production
- Provide workshops and seminars for teaching fashion production techniques
